     The Steering Committee has been meeting almost weekly for about a month and a half, discussing last year's Senior Satisfaction survey and other Student Services topics. To improve upon Montserrat global awareness as well as enriching our community, we are planning on having two distinct events this upcoming Spring 2011 semester. 

     The first is a Student Leadership Conference, which would invite student leaders/government from area colleges to discuss relevant issues and ideas, hopefully in a workshop format.

     The second is a Global Issues Summit, an action-based forum with guest speakers on contemporary topics.

Still very much in the planning phase, yet the tentative dates for these are March 23, 2011 and April 26, 2011.
